Sandy's

On their new EP, “Chime," San Francisco surf rock quintet Sandy’s sound like Big Star in Big Sur.  Glassy open tunings are buoyed by bouncing drum fills and soaked in resonant moog flourishes.

Singers Alexi Glickman and Dave Muller visit Jah, existential dread, and the 80-foot blue whale that washed up at their home surf break.

Hot Mountain Dips

The Hot Mountain Dips stay true to the classic San Francisco music scene providing free-form funkified blues with tasty grooves similar to the improvisation heavy bands of the 60's and 70's. The dips create a show atmosphere where heckling and "Hot Dips!" chants are always recommended. Their originals have taken the bay-area by storm, blossoming from this particular union of friends and talent that dips deep down into that greasy loud rock and roll of generations past.

Tru Lyric

“I want to bring something new and fresh to the genre of Hip-Hop.”
Born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA, Tru Lyric has come a long way from making music with friends while attending Analy High School. He found refuge in writing lyrics while battling his depression and anxiety and was able to grow as a musician helping others who battle with the same disease. His passion and love for music stems from what he grew up listening to during his childhood: The Temptations, Notorious B.I.G., and Frank Sinatra. As his view of Hip-Hop transformed, Tru Lyric began working with musicians from across the county to infuse Jazz, Gospel, Rock, Blues, and even Salsa into his music.

The Swamees

Though the Swamees are firmly rooted in San Francisco, their music sounds as if it drifted off some Louisiana swampland. The band mixes folk subtlety, greasy chicken-shack funk, and country swagger in a pig iron cauldron of molten rock psychedelia.
